L.J.H. Teakle Award Nomination

The L.J.H. Teakle Award is an annual award recognising outstanding efforts in promoting and raising awareness of soil science in Australia through extension activities within Soil Science Australia and/or the wider community.Soil Science Australia offers several prestigious awards recognizing excellence and contribution to soil science. The award is open to financial members of the Society and recognises exceptional contributions to soil science promotion through Soil Science Australia or public engagement. A nomination must be made by a nominator and seconder and be signed by the President of the nominee’s branch. Submissions must include a supporting case (up to 1000 words) and relevant supporting documents. In 2025, the award will be present at the Soil Science Australia AGM in November.
