Fellowship Nomination

The Soil Science Australia Fellowship is an annual honour recognising exceptional achievement and distinction in soil-related fields, including research, technology, teaching, extension, and advancement of soil science. It acknowledges preeminent soil scientists within Soil Science Australia. The award is open to financial ordinary or honorary members of the Society. Up to three Fellowships may be awarded annually. In 2025, the Fellowships will be awarded at the Annual General Meeting in November.

Fellowship nominations must be supported by a proposer, a seconder, and five additional financial members from Soil Science Australia. Please fill out all required information in the nomination form.

General Requirements

Open to financial ordinary or honorary members of the Society.
Must be supported by a proposer, a seconder, and five additional financial members.
Required documents:

Nomination statement (up to 1000 words).
Curriculum vitae of the nominee.
Up to five significant publications or works (electronic submission preferred).
Three referees who can provide a written assessment of the nominee’s professional standing.
